Getting Started Guide

Welcome to the Enture Platform! This guide will help you get started with the key features and concepts.

Overview

The Enture is an digitization and industry4.0 Enterprise software platform that helps you monitor and manage your manufacturing or building operations. Key components include:

  • Workspaces: Logical groupings of machines and equipment
  • Machines: Physical equipment being monitored
  • Parameters: Data points on machines, meters, SCADA, PLC, etc.
  • Hubs: Edge devices that collect data from machines

Quick Start

  1. Connect hubs: Deploy edge devices to collect data
  2. Set up your workspace: Create a workspace to organize your machines
  3. Add machines: Register the machines you want to monitor
  4. Configure parameters: Set up the sensors and data points

Key Concepts

Workspaces

Workspaces help you organize machines by location, production line, or any other logical grouping. Each workspace can contain multiple machines.

Machines

Machines represent the physical equipment in your facility. Each machine can have multiple parameters (sensors) attached to it.

Parameters

Parameters are the individual data points being collected from machines. These can include: - Temperature sensors - Pressure gauges - Flow meters - Energy consumption - Production counters

Hubs

Hubs are edge computers/VMs/server which run Enture Edge OS or Enture Edge Data centre deployment that connect to your machines, meters, PLC, SCADA, BMS, etc and collect data. They communicate with the Enture cloud platform to send readings, consumption data, processed data, alert triggers etc.

Processes

A defined set of steps or operations that transform inputs into outputs during manufacturing or production. In Enture the process can be used as a logical workflow that represents a realworld industrial operation by combining data from multiple machines/devices in Enture.

Lines

A sequence of machines and workstations arranged to perform a specific manufacturing operation from start to finish. In Enture Lines you can organise the different lines in an industry based on the operation or process.
