Groups

Groups is where you organise the people, machines, and parameters that other parts of Enture act on — who gets notified, which machines belong together, which parameters are tracked as a set, and how your organisation's people are structured by department.

Engineer access required

Creating, editing, and deleting groups requires engineer access. If you can view the Groups dashboard but don't see add/edit/delete controls, contact your platform administrator.

Accessing Groups

Navigate to Settings → Groups. The dashboard shows a summary count for each group type with quick-create shortcuts, and the sidebar lets you switch between:

Group type Used for
Notification Groups Recipients for alerts and reports — Email, SMS, or a Telegram group chat
User Groups Collections of platform users, used across the app wherever a set of people needs to be referenced together
Machine Groups Collections of Digital Twin machines, used for grouped reporting and dashboards
Parameter Groups Collections of parameters, used for grouped reporting and dashboards
Department Groups Your organisation's departments, with issuer/authoriser/user role assignments
