Parameter Status Based Widget¶
Part of the Widget View guide.
The Parameter Status Based Widget interface allows users to create parameter status based widget with different timeframe and size information. It enables operations teams to track live asset conditions by pairing explicit telemetry items with distinct rule-based status colors inside a designated dashboard view.
Step 1¶
First, look at the top right corner of the interface. The View dropdown displays the pre-existing dashboard view inside which you are currently creating this widget. If needed, click the copy icon next to it to copy this View ID for sharing or reference.

Step 2¶
Provide an appropriate name under Widget Label, select a Widget Width, select a Widget Height, and choose a Background Color from their respective dropdown fields under Widget details.

Step 3¶
Scroll down to the Choose Parameter section to configure your data telemetry targets. Depending on your setup, toggle the Device switch on the top right:

Input a descriptive name for your custom data point inside the Param Label text field.

Enter the explicit measurement format inside the Unit text field.

Choose your dashboard presentation format from the View dropdown menu.

Check the Hide Value box if you wish to mask raw text metrics on the widget display.
When Device Toggle is Disabled (Off):¶

Select your active environment from the Workspace dropdown menu.

Select your equipment asset from the Machine dropdown menu.

Choose your metric from the Param dropdown menu.

When Device Toggle is Enabled (On):¶

Select your active environment from the Workspace dropdown menu.

Choose your target hardware tracking device from the Device dropdown menu.

Choose your metric from the Param dropdown menu.

Step 4¶
Navigate to the Status Rules section to assign operational thresholds:

Input a distinct milestone name inside the Label text field.

Assign an alert color marker from the Status Color dropdown menu.

Define your comparison logic formula from the View (Operator) dropdown menu.

Enter the numerical trigger baseline inside the Value text field.
Click the Add button to stage your condition in the summary grid below.
Finally, click Create.
