Asset Registry¶
The Asset Registry lists every machine in your organisation in one place — not just the ones you've placed on a Plant Model tree. It's where you record identity details (manufacturer, model, serial number), criticality, warranty/AMC coverage, and reference documents for each asset.
Navigate to Asset Management → Asset Registry.
The asset list¶
- Search by name, type, location, or asset tag.
- Criticality chips (Critical / High / Medium / Low) filter the list, with a count on each chip. Click All to clear the filter.
- Each row shows the asset's name, type, location (its Plant Model path if it has one, otherwise its workspace), classification, and criticality.
- A VFD not configured badge appears next to any VFD-type machine that doesn't yet have a VFD Configuration set up — until it does, that machine won't appear on the Asset Health dashboard.
Click any row to open that asset's detail page.

Engineer access required
Editing asset details, maintenance plans, warranty/AMC records, and documents all require engineer access. Without it, this page is read-only.
Maintenance Plans¶
A card on this page lists the asset's preventive maintenance plans and lets you add new ones or log completed work — see Maintenance for the full walkthrough.
Warranty & AMC¶
Click Add Record to log a warranty or AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) entry: type, provider, contact, start/end dates, cost, and notes. All records are kept — this becomes a running history, not just the current coverage. Use the Delete button to remove a record you added in error.
Documents & Manuals¶
Click Add Document to attach a reference link for the asset — a datasheet, drawing, certificate, service report, commissioning record, manual, or other document. Give it a type, a title, and a link (e.g. to a shared drive or cloud storage location); click the title in the list to open it in a new tab.
Links, not uploads
Documents are stored as links you provide, not uploaded files — point them at wherever your team already keeps these documents.
VFD Standard SOPs show up here too
For VFD assets, a VFD Standard SOPs entry appears in this list automatically alongside anything you've added — it's not something you upload. Clicking it opens the same alarm-by-alarm SOP browser described in Docs Menu & SOP Browser, so troubleshooting steps and reference documents are in one place instead of two. It isn't listed under "Add Document" and can't be deleted from here.
Open in Digital Twin¶
The Open in Digital Twin button at the top of the page jumps to the asset's own Digital Twin machine page — live parameters, condition monitoring, and trends live there rather than being duplicated in Asset Management.
