Getting Started¶
This page walks through signing in and the controls you will use every day.
Signing in¶
- Open your organisation's Enture address in your browser.
- Enter your credentials, or choose your company's single sign-on option if one is offered.
- After signing in you land on the home page of your first available application.
To sign out, open your profile and choose Logout (see Profile & Appearance).
Moving between applications¶
Enture is organised into applications, such as Digital Twin, Views, Reports, Analysis, Triggers & Actions, Enture AI, Air Quality, ESG, Asset Management and the Manufacturing (MES) group.
- Click the grid icon at the left of the header to open Enture Apps.
- Applications are grouped by area. Choose the one you want.
- The sidebar changes to show the pages of that application.
Note
An application that is not part of your organisation's plan opens an upgrade page instead. Contact your administrator if you need access to it.
The header¶
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Menu icon | Collapses or expands the sidebar. On a phone or tablet it opens the sidebar. |
| App launcher | Switches between applications. |
| Organisation name | Shows the organisation you are working in. If you belong to more than one, use it to switch. |
| Engineering access | Turns on the engineering controls used to edit configuration. Shown only to users with engineering access. |
| Notifications | Opens your latest alerts. See Notifications & Alerts. |
| Settings | Opens configuration options such as Derived Data Units, Control Panel, Groups and Assets. Shown only to users with the required access. |
| Profile picture | Opens your profile. |
Switching organisation¶
If your account belongs to several organisations, open Settings and choose Switch Organisation, then pick the one you want. All pages then show that organisation's data.
Using Enture on a phone or tablet¶
The layout adapts to smaller screens. The sidebar is hidden until you tap the menu icon, and wide tables scroll sideways.
