Integrations

Integrations send your plant data automatically to web-based portals and services outside Enture, for example a government reporting portal. Once a plant is set up, Enture sends a reading every reporting interval without anyone having to log in to the portal.

Engineer access required

Setting up and managing integrations requires engineer access.

Integrations vs Connectors

Integrations send data out to web-based portals. Connectors (Accounts → Connectors) link Enture with plant and business systems, such as an ERP, through your Edge device. They are managed separately.

Finding Integrations

Go to Accounts → Integrations. The page lists:

  • In use: integrations your organisation already reports to, with the number of plants and licence status.
  • Available: integrations you can set up.

Click an integration to see all its plants and how each one is reporting.

Plants

Each integration can report for several plants. A plant is one reporting site as registered with the portal. It has its own portal device ID, shared secret and field mapping.

A plant is defined by the parameters you map to the portal's fields. Enture works out the hubs, machines and workspaces behind those parameters and shows them on the plant's Overview, so you can see which equipment feeds each report.

Licensing

Integrations are licensed per portal, not per plant.

  • Enabling your organisation's first production plant on a portal adds that portal to your licence. Enture asks you to confirm before it does this.
  • Further plants on the same portal don't add cost.
  • Test plants (reporting to the portal's test environment) are never billed.
  • The licence ends when the last production plant on that portal is disabled or removed.

Your active integrations appear under Accounts → Licenses, in the Integrations section and in the downloaded licence report.

Parameters used by an integration

A parameter that is mapped to a portal field shows a Reported to … badge on the parameter screens, and it can't be deleted while it's mapped. To delete it, first remove it from the plant's field mapping, or remove the plant. See Parameters.
