Bitwise Word Widget¶

Part of the Widget View guide.

The Bitwise Word Widget interface allows users to create a bitwise word widget with different timeframe and size information. It enables targeted tracking of bit statuses and word options for specific assets or overall devices and machines within a designated dashboard view.

Step 1¶

First, look at the top right corner of the interface. The View dropdown displays the pre-existing dashboard view inside which you are currently creating this widget. If needed, click the copy icon next to it to copy this View ID for sharing or reference.

Step 2¶

Provide an appropriate name under Widget Label, select a Widget Width, select a Widget Height, and choose a Background Color from their respective dropdown fields under Widget details.

Step 3¶

Scroll down to assign your data source. You can use the Device toggle switch at the top right corner of the section to choose your tracking layer:

Option A: Machine-Based Tracking (Device Toggle OFF)¶

Select a Workspace, choose a target asset under Machine, and pick the specific Param information. Next, select a value from the Words dropdown menu. You can also check the Show Bit Status box if you want to expose individual bit breakdowns on your widget.

Option B: Device-Based Tracking (Device Toggle ON)¶

Select a Workspace, choose a target infrastructure hardware path under Device, and pick the specific Param information. Next, select a value from the Words dropdown menu. You can also check the Show Bit Status box if necessary.

Finally, click Create.
