Dynamic Log Widget¶

Part of the Widget View guide.

The Dynamic Log Widget interface allows users to create a dynamic log widget with custom timeframe and layout parameters. It enables real-time visual tracking and operational monitoring of log data metrics inside a designated dashboard view.

Step 1¶

First, look at the top right corner of the interface. The View dropdown displays the pre-existing dashboard view inside which you are currently creating this widget. If needed, click the copy icon next to it to copy this View ID for sharing or reference.

Step 2¶

Provide an appropriate name under Widget Label, select a Widget Width, select a Widget Height , select a TimeFrame and choose a Background Color from their respective dropdown fields under Widget details.

Step 3¶

Scroll down to configure your log tracking metrics and graph formatting preferences:

• Select your preferred visual presentation style under the Default Graph Type dropdown menu.

• Choose your target document source classification under the Log Name dropdown menu.

• Choose one or more parameter tracking metrics from the Fields dropdown menu.

• Toggle the Primary Field Label checkbox if you want to explicitly enforce primary field titles across your presentation layout display.

Finally, click Create.
